good choice via internet
Excellent Buffet breakfast, perfect position, parging garage next to the hotel, garage for smaller/medium cars (only 5 for hotel guests), rooms need a refreshment but OK, reception generous, ..... a good choice for visitors out of the summer season.
We had a pleasent stay 3 nights in carneval time and we can recommand the hotel ! |

"Excellent Holiday"
We booked 2 rooms at the West End from 24/09 for 7 nights. We had requested refurbished rooms and were allocated 2 rooms on the first floor. We were very pleased with the standards of the room & service provided, clean rooms, new towels every day, immaculate carpets. The staff were both friendly & efficient. All in all we had an excellent stay taking the train for day trips to Cannes, Monaco and Italy.

"Good location for long weekend"
We had a recently refurbished room on the second floor located on the side overlooking the gardens of the museum next door that was nice and peaceful. The rooms on the front have a great view of the promenade and sea but could possibly be noisey as there are 4 lanes of traffic passing. The room was very clean with minibar, tv, laptop connection and a reasonable sized bathroom. The towels were changed every day. The public areas and hallways were nicely decorated and furnished in character with the property. With the age of the property, you did sometimes get a creeky floorboard! The reception and other staff around the hotel were all very friendly and nothing was too much touble when it came to service.
There was a good choice of hot and cold breakfast served on the terrace and a separate restaurant serving lunch and dinner if you can't be bothered to the many bars and restaurants nearby.
It was about 15 minutes walk to the train station to get a train to Cannes or Monte Carlo and similar distance to get to the harbour and old town area or the Flower Market.

"absolutely great hotel!"
We had our wedding in Hotel West End and stayed there 1 week. This was our 5th time in Nice,so we knew whole lot about city and few hotels already.Everything was perfect from the beginning.Room was big, huge bathtub,minibar,safe,3
little balconies to the sea etc. and the view was AMAZING.
Reception, bellboy, concierge+other workers speak good english. And they really seemed to enjoy what they are doing.Concierge took care of everything from hairdresser to makeup, from candles to transportation.Mr Loriz Martinez takes care of seminars and reception rooms and was real professional. He arranged lovely reception room and their private
beach for our wedding ceremony and hotel's restaurant is close
Michelin star class.Location of the hotel is superb and it's
definately worth of every single euro.....

"We loved it!"
My husband and I were all set for a mediocre stay at the West End in Nice. However, we could not have been more satisfied. The service was stellar starting with the bellman who immediately greeted us as we pulled up in the taxi to the certificate for complimentary glasses of champagne as we checked in. Someone had noted that it was our wedding anniversary.
Our room was small, but adequate and it faced the Sea. The next time, I would definitely request a room on a higher floor (4th perhaps) to escape some of noise on the Promanade des Anglais.
The management must have read some of the pitiful reviews of the past because the service was exemplary. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its beauty, location and service.

"Perfect for a special occasion"
We stayed at the West End Hotel, Nice for our silver wedding anniversary 20th to 24th July 05 and were thrilled by the service and special treatment by the staff. They upgraded us to a newly refurbished suite, which was perfect. The food and service was amazing. All the staff were so pleasant - they just could not do enough for us. It is just a perfect hotel for this sort of occasion and Nice was really lovely, even if the beach is not brilliant.

"Lovely Hotel"
Situation couldn't be better, right on the promenade, & within walking distance of all you might want to see, and ideally suited to watching the world go by while enjoying breakfast or just a drink. The staff were all friendly & helpful. The room whilst not huge was lovely & clean with ample storage space, the bathroom appeared to be relatively new, was immaculate & a great size. Breakfast had all that you could want from sausages & scrambled eggs to yoghurt, cereals, juices etc, a good selection even for the most fastidious of eaters. Transport from the airport couldn't have been easier on the no.98 bus from the airport costing 8 eur return each. I will be going back of that there is no doubt.....roll on next summer!!
