Sofitel Nice Hotel is a traditional Spanish style building. The restaurant as well as the Bistro provides regional and continental dishes. The lobby is of medium size and decorated in a provencal style. There is a small sitting area furnished with comfortable sofas and armchairs.

Sofitel Nice Hotel is situated close to the old part of the town and Massena square. It is 10 minutes from the airport and opposite the Acropolis Congress Centre.

"Amazing Value"
This hotel cost 58 euro for a double room when I booked it online. The pool has superb view. The distance from town is 15 minutes and is fine. Nice clean rooms and great size! Would recommend.

"Great view from Terrace"
My Wife and I started our tour around Europe here. The hotel is somewhat away from the main scene. About a 15-20 minutes walk to Old Town (which is a must see). There are lots of places to eat great food in Old Town, if you like Paellas and Seafood, you will love the restaurants in Old Town. Our room was on the 5th floor and phased a courtyard, we were suppose to have a queen size bed but it was actually 2 small beds pushed together, they were however very comfortable. The room was very spacious which was not the trend compared to the rest of hotels we stayed at in Europe. The view from the Terrace was fabulous, nice pool but it was not warm enough to get in. It would have been nice to have a drink served in the Terrace area overlooking the city but service seemed to not be available up there. I also recommend renting a car and driving a long the French Riviera, we went to Monaco, very scenic drive.

Stayed here Nov.20 - 26, 2006. This is the best hotel we have stayed in Europe. They staff was excellent and friendly. The breakfast was wonderful with choise items and good selection. Location is good to rail station for local travel along with the main bus station a few blooks away. Small mall two blooks from hotel. Room was large, we had a deluxe room, beds were very soft.
