"Excellent" Just back after spending 5 nights in this hotel. Excellent location - 5 mins walk from train station (number 99 bus brings you direct from airport in 15 mins for €4) Highly efficient and very friendly staff. Rooms fine - air conditioning may be a problem during the very hot summer months however as it could have been cooler fopr us in May!. A few minutes walk from all major attractions. Excellent restaurants within 5 mins walk - great Japanese/Chinese called Hot Pot and lovely little French/Italian called La Toscan. Very reasonable. Will definately be returning to this hotel - pool on the roof is added bonus!

"Convenient to train and City Center" My husband and I just spent 3 days at this hotel in Nice. It is about 3 blocks from the train station which made it very convenient to take the airport bus to and from our flights. (The bus price is 8 EURO compared to the van price of 28 per person or taxi price of 30+ per person.) The staff were very friendly and courteous. English was spoken by all of the staff we encountered except the maid. The breakfast offered more variety than we saw at the other hotel we stayed at -- fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, sausage, and the usual breads, cheese, cold meats, etc. Our room was spacious by Europe standards with a very nice bath with a bidet. It overlooked the pool (still closed for winter) and garden area. We found it quiet. The nearest street Jean Medecin is currently torn up for the new tram system Nice will have in 2007. It is still fine for pedestrians. We found many restaurants, stores and department stores close by. I would also recommend getting a city bus pass each day. You can buy them on the bus for 4 EURO and travel all over throughout the day. Much easier to get to Ciminez and Park Phoenix. Enjoy!

"top quality" stayed for one night, found air con in whole hotel to be quiet and very efficient, ,whilst outside in the street the temperature was 33 degrees, the hotel was nice and cool . staff very helpful, portarage at no charge of luggage from taxi to room and back on request in the morning. roof top pool and gardens top class. would stay there again no problem, great views of nice from the roof.

"Great value" Great hotel in a good central location...nice rooftop pool...rooms were clean and for the money a good choice...Safe area to walk at night...approx 15 min walk to old town and sea front..Will go back..
