Mrs J Rowley Beautifully decorated, elegant, spacious & clean rooms. Front desk staff multi-lingual & very helpful & friendly. We didn't realise there was a breakfast room, & I think breakfast was extra. Would stay there again.

"Great hotel!" I stayed at this hotel for 6 days in June/July 2005. My room was on the 3rd floor and had a balcony. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom, esp the shower, was small, but this is usual in France. The breakfast each morning was delicious!! The location of the hotel was good; a few minutes to main shopping area and to the train stn and 10 mins to beach. Easy acces for train travel to Cannes, Monaco etc. I was travelling alone and felt perfectly safe in the hotel and when walking back to the hotel at night etc. I would definately recommend this hotel and stay there again.

"Excellent Hotel!" The Hotel Medicis made for a very pleasant base for our holiday in Nice. My boyfriend and I spent 4 nights here and enjoyed it immensely. The reception area is very welcoming and comfortable, and the staff are friendly and helpful in their suggestions for places to visit/things to do. Our room was on the 1st floor. Because of this, we didn't have a balcony, but we did have lovely high ceilings and a good sized room. The bed wasn't huge, but was very comfortable. My favourite addition to the room was the ultra comfortable sofa! This was lovely for chilling on to watch some tv when we would return at night. The bathroom was nice too and had a foot bath also which was great for sore feet after a long day's walking! The hotel is very well located at a 5min (max) walk from the train station, 10 mins from the Rue Medicin (shopping street), 20/25 to Place Massena/Promenade des Anglais. Breakfast was delicious also and included fresh juice, lots of types of bread including mini croissants and pain au chocolat which were a real favourite with me! A pot of fresh tea/coffee with a jug of hot milk is served to the table unlike other 3* hotels which just have a drinks machine. Nice is a beautiful city and with gems such a Cannes and Monaco a short train ride away, this hotel is ideally located. At apx E100 per night, I would highly recommend it to anyone.
