"Superb views, great grounds"
We stayed in Le Mas d'Artigny at the beginning of July 2006, and really enjoyed it. The hotel has some good deals if you book with them directly through the small luxury hotels of the world website. The main advantage of the hotel are the fantastic views down towards the coast, and over to St Paul De Vence, so I strongly recommend booking a front facing room. The hotel grounds are also lovely, as is the large outdoor swimming pool. The hotel itself is very comfortable, but could do with a bit of an update as the decor looks a little tired. The immediate surroundings are beautiful, and St Paul De Vence is about 3km away. You really do need a car to get the best out of this area, and there are no restaurants or bars within easy walking distance. Overall a really nice place for relaxing in the sun, and exploring the Cote D'Azur.

"Looking out to paradise"
Given the right rooms, the views out to the Mediterranean are amazing. This hotel offers the feeling of a major 5star location and services, but not that full price. The staff was great for sure. Their pools (28 private ones to rooms) and one main one, offer the cooling relaxed atmosphere. The DRIVE to find it the first time is indeed a challenge but by the 3rd day we made it without making wrong turns. Access to Cannes, Nice, Monaco and such were great, really great. I recommend the facility for sure.

"Fantastic hotel with relaxation the main feature"
We were two adults and two children and we took one of the apartment suites with private swimming pool. We absolutely loved the option of private relaxation of relaxing in the main pool area which was uncrowded.
The hotel was filled mainly with French guests and this appealed to us as it was not too tourisy.
The best thing about the hotel was that it was near enough to the tourist sites and destinations (St Paul de Vence, Nice, Cannes, Juan-les-Pins, Antibes), but once you have spent time in these busy locations, how great it was to return to the tranquility of this hotel.
The staff were great (except the pool attendant who seemed to suffer whenever asked anything).
Breakfast was on the terrace with fabulous panaramic views althoug the quality of the breakfast could have been better.
Overall however, a definate "yes" and we hope to return next year.
