Loved Nice, Loved Excelsior Hotel!
I spent three days in the Excelsior Hotel during my trip to France and I loved both the city and the hotel! First of all, it was conveniently located only a couple of minutes from the station just about 10 minutes walk to the promenade and 15 minutes walk to the old town. The room was clean and overlooking to a nice courtyard. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was adequate. Perfect accommodation for my standarts. |

"Excellent hotel. Will definitely be going back."
My husband and I stayed here for one night and will definitely go back. It was a lovely hotel in a quiet location about 10 minutes walk from Vieux Nice, Promenade des Anglais etc. There is a pretty little courtyard area and we had a room that was almost like a little cottage within the courtyard. The breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful. We were particularly impressed given how reasonably priced it was. Would definitely recommend it.

"Lovely little surprise"
Discovered this little gem by accident. It's seen better days, but the rooms are quite grand and the staff down-to-earth and helpful. It's on a quiet street and very near the station. Liked it a lot, especially for the price.

"Good hotel!"
We stayed here for 3 nights in Oct 2006. Our room overlooked the garden to the rear of the hotel (I had requested a quiet room) and had French doors opening onto a small balcony. The room was clean, comfortable and as described by the website. Nice bathroom too. Breakfast was good, and staff very helpful and friendly.
The hotel is very well situated, near to the Gare SCNF, but on a quiet sidestreet. It is easy to find, the no.99 bus from the airport takes you straight to it!! Altogether an easy to recommend hotel and one we would go to again!!

"Nice and clean."
Usually the most essential thing we have in mind when we are looking for a place to stay when we are on holidays is a nice and clean hotel. Those two things represent the Excelsior Hotel. Recently renovated made me think that I was the first person entered in to the room. The breakfast was well enough, the train station just 200 meters away and the pedestrian zone with the restaurants and cafes only 15 minutes walk. I recommend the Excelsior Hotel to all those they are looking for nice, clean, cheap and in a good location hotel. |

"close to the train"
An okay place to spend a quick night just off the train in Nice. The rooms are very small and a little funky, but ultimately it worked out fine. The front desk was okay. It really is close to the train |
