Not a good choice for me
This was possibly the worst hotel I have seen, extremly dirty - with dirty sheets (blood stains) and dirty-damp towels. Area isn't the best - as a female, I suggest you move away from the trian stations (redlight district and the gangs that hang around there). I shortened my stay from 4 nights to the first night (had no other choice but to sleep on my beach towel for that night). Staff - not the nicest (not willing to help) took me 2 hours to check in! Basically - if this was between this hotel and sleeping on the streets of Nice with all the dog poo - I'd pick the streets as they'd be cleaner!

I had originally booked a twin sharing room but they offered me a double room for the price of a single! room space was adequate - towels changed each day, rooms thoroughly cleaned and aired...location is a big plus esp. when you have to fly in late at night - 5 minutes walk from the train station and a 20 minute walk to the bus terminal on place massena -- plus an artisan boulangerie right in front ...front desk helpfully gave me directions when i needed to buy a outlet adaptor for my cell phone...highly recommend amaryllis...

"friendly and helpful "
This hotel was excellently situated near to the station and airport bus service, and also to main shopping areas. It was at the same time blissfully quiet at night and I had the best sleeps for years. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I hope I will be able to return.

Friendly hotel, good location especially if you are travelling by train and nice rooms for the price paid. The breakfast was good value too. I would certainly consider staying here again if I return to Nice.

The Hotel was within walking distance of the station. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. There was a lift to get upstairs even if it was small. Our room was large with a good bathroom and breakfast was a good continental one. It was definitely good value for the price.

Nice hotel to stay, clean with a new paint - very friendly and competent staff. The free VLAN access was of great help. I intend to return to this hotel, its on my preferred hotel list.

This hotel is in a great location, being only 2 blocks from the train station and one block from a main street so it was easy to get our bearings for finding our way to the old city and the ocean. There are lots of reasonably priced restaurants in the area. The staff was extremely helpful and fluent in English.
