Albert 1er Hotel We have just returned from a 5 day break to wonderful Nice and the a.m. hotel. We were very dissapointed to find that the rooms we were allocated were at the back of the hotel and were all scaffolded up with men working on the exterior. We could not open our windows for the dust that was flying about. Check before you book that you will not be staying in this side of the hotel. The food was ample even though very basic. Not the big american breakfast we were all looking froward to. Its just a good job that the weather was very pleasant so that we didn't have to spend any time in the rooms.

M Ward LOCATION LOCATION & helpfull Friendly staff Breakfast had a wide range of choices and again the Staff were Brilliant !! Hotel is rather dated and some better sound proofing installed would be good BUT our Room on 6th Floor was Quiet and Clean GOOD VALUE FOR THIS PRICE RANGE & Had a VERY ENJOYABLE STAY So thankyou to the ALBERT 1er

Meta Linton Irene Brownlee Having booked 2 standard single rooms there wasn't a fridge , the lighting in one room failed to come on( Except one bedside light) Asked for the lights to be repaired , this was not done, although promised. Tiles loose in bathrooms, no power plugs except shaver point. Breakfasts were basic although the ham was good ,only one cereal available. No toast except in packets. No fresh fruit bowls. Limited space . Have had better in other 3 star hotels.

"Fantastic Location" I highly recommend this hotel, the room was basic but clean but the location more than made up for that. We had a great view of the sea and across the palm tree lined park and everything was within walking distance, ideal for a short break.
